Founder & Managing Director
Wagner is a trained artist, florist and graphic designer. Hailing from Brazil, his work has long been influenced by the vibrancy and diversity of that country’s flora and fauna. In 2011, he moved to London to pursue his interest in contemporary visual arts. Once in the City, Wagner took a position at McQueens, where he curated arrangements and exhibitions for a long list of preeminent clients. Wagner also gained valuable teaching experience at McQueens, when he was appointed as the floristry school’s Head Tutor. Wagner continues to train at the Sogetsu School of Ikebana in London.
Wagner’s ambition at the London Flower School is simple: to inspire and guide his students through their own educational journey, presenting flowers as a medium for artistry.
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Helen is a qualified teacher who has spent most of her life sharing and cultivating knowledge and skills with her students. However, teaching is not her only passion. She has also worked as a florist for many years, collaborating with some of the city’s most talented and influential flower arrangers. Her teaching style is hands on and exploratory, meaning she actively involves students in their own learning, and encourages them to find their own approach to the task in hand.
Helen’s mission at the London Flower School is to bring that creatively engaged teaching style into floristry, empowering students to trust the creative vision they have cultivated.
