Limited Edition LFS Suiban Vase
Vessel by Noe Kuremoto
Water surface is considered as an integral component in Ikebana. The Suiban vessel crafted by Noe gives this element of the design an active empty space.
The bespoke dark red wild clay body is inspired by ancient Japanese Jōmon pottery (縄文土器). It displays an unusual intense warm colour when fired in an oxidising atmosphere, giving a dark earthy frame to floral compositions.
Limited edition of 7 vessels crafted exclusively for LFS.
Noe Kuremoto was born in Osaka Japan, and graduated in Fine Art with First Class Honours from Central Saint Martins College of Art. She works and lives in London with her family, including sausage dog Lassie.
