In Perfect Process
London Design Festival 2019
Print artist Lisa King and London Flower School will launch their first collaborative collection with an exhibition at this year’s London Design Festival (14 - 22 September 2019). Taking over a 400 sq. metre disused church in Copeland Park in Peckham, South London, the exhibition will showcase the process of the creative journey, culminating in a large-scale flower and print installation.
The collection is the product of a documented collaboration spanning several months, which questions the notion of beauty and imperfection in nature and humanity through the medium of print and floristry.
Limited edition framed prints and scarves of the collection will be available to purchase at a temporary retail space at the exhibition. In addition to this, LFS will be running two workshops that provide an insight into the creative journey that In Perfect Process will be showcasing.
For more information about the exhibition, visit the official London Design Festival website here.
FLORAL PATTERN MAKING WORKSHOP
Lisa King and Wagner Kreusch, the Managing Director of London Flower School, open up the creative process behind their collaborative collection In Perfect Process. During the workshop, you will start by learning how Lisa and LFS work independently, and how they have combined their ways of working to create this collection and exhibition. This will then lead into the workshop itself, where the alternative approach used to create patterns is taught by deconstructing a variety of flowers and arranging them in acrylic trays. Your designs will then be photographed and you will receive a high-resolution digital copy of your creation after the event.
- 2pm – 4pm.
- All materials included.
- All London Flower School courses are taught in English.
- You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.
- The workshops will take place at: Unit 9F, Copeland Park & Bussey Building, 133 Rye Lane, Peckham SE15 3SN London. Find directions here.
